I was extremely fortunate to be born into a family of travellers. I took my first passport photo at the ripe age of two weeks old; lived in six cities across North America and Europe before my 12th birthday; and attended thirteen schools before I turned 18. This has undoubtedly contributed to my innate inability to stay in one place for too long (also known as wanderlust).
When I moved to Toronto I never imagined that I would stay here for a decade. However, life rarely goes exactly as we plan. Ten years in Toronto; ten whole years filled with moments that have shaped the adult (omg, when did that happen?) typing this blog post. Ten years of trying and failing and loving and losing, but mostly learning and growing. The last ten years have led to this current adventure of mine.
Earlier this week, I departed for what can only be described as the trip of a lifetime. I kissed my family and friends goodbye and headed for New York – Helsinki – Dubai. I couldn’t be more excited for all the new experiences and memories to come.
woohoo! Congrats girl! Huge things on the horizon.
